Nerd: unheard [dur-10 mins]

There are people who we always talk about, there are people who we cant stop backbiting about. And then there are people who we know that they exist in our classroom and are totally unaware of their names and nor are we to keen on knowing it. This breed of people is called nerds. You wont find a synonym for it in any dictionary but I’ll give u some- geeks, dorks, freaks, bookworms, losers etc



What we are trying to do with our movie is that, we are giving them their voices back we are giving them a chance to speak.



Movie is shot like a documentary but its is the actors who are playing the role of the geeks. With every interview we are giving out knowledge about the nerds, which people were unaware of

There are many misconceptions about nerds which people have. People think nerds are people who always occupy the first benches.
The answer would be ‘NO’; people normally get confused with nerds and studious students. It needs courage and knowledge to sit on the first bench. Brainy and studious students who are updated with all the possible info usually occupy first benches. Students who come to the classroom with intention of passing comments and dozing off head straight towards the backbenches. To spot a nerd u have to dig in deep into the class cos a true nerd who is true to his nature will sit on middle benches trying hard to avoid getting any kind of attention. Misconception no.2 that nerds do not have friends


Nerds do have friends and in fact they can have large circle of friends, but the friend circle consists of nerds too. Misconception no.3 nerds attend all the lectures. Wrong again nerds do bunk but there idea of bunking lectures is to come late to college that means they leave their house little late.


Misconception no.4 nerds do not party. Nerds are big party animals but to them the meaning of party is different, when all the nerds meet up at a sidey place and loud music is being played that is how they describe party.

Misconception no.5 nerds do not know all the popular people, girls to be more precise. It’s a paradox in this case because all the so-called happening girls know all the nerds because though the nerds are not so bright but they are surely equipped with complete formatted notes. So instead of asking a brainy for notes these so-called happening girls approach the nerds for notes. By the way nerds are the heroes during the exams because without their notes happening people will repeat that year and then they wont be so happening anymore.

Misconception no.6 nerds are victims these poor chaps suffer a lot. No absolutely negative captain!!! Nerds are nerds because they want to be one, it is not forced on to them its something that they choose to be.


Above contents will be proved by interviews in the movie. In the end the person making the documentary in the movie screams ok cut!!! And then he tells the nerd of whose interview he took the last,”finally, some one will hear us and believe that we are also cool and happening like others” camera focuses on the documentary maker
Whose wearing thick soda glasses and is lanky. And then the end.

Movie is about a documentary maker-making documentary on nerds. But the in the climax we come to know that the documentary maker himself is a nerd and no one listens to him and he is trying to make his voice heard through his work. Ending is trippy. Pay attention to the title of the movie then the full movie makes sense it has got a punch to it.
